The Bryan Brothers, Bob and Mike, are arguably the greatest men’s tennis doubles team in history. The American twins have won an impressive 16 Grand Slam titles together. Their professional career spanned over two decades from 1998 to 2020. They were known for their powerful serves and volleys as well as their signature chest-bump celebration after winning crucial points.
Another formidable pairing is Martina Navratilova and Pam Shriver. This dynamic duo dominated women’s tennis during the late ’70s through to the early ’90s. Together they amassed an incredible 21 Grand Slam Doubles titles including a record of five consecutive Wimbledon victories from 1982-1986. In more recent years, Serena Williams and Venus Williams have made significant waves in women’s doubles tennis.
